Samsung Galaxy S III Written Review by Taylor
The Samsung Galaxy S III is the third installment of the ever-popular Galaxy S series by Samsung, and it is one of the most refined and balanced Android handsets we have come across here at PhoneDog. The fact that Samsung has already sold 20 million Galaxy S III units should lend credence to its quality. "This phone is truly the benchmark for smartphones"
This phone is amazing! I ordered it as soon as AT&T was taking pre-orders and have been more than satisfied. What even surprised me more was that my wife, who is an avid Iphone person said that she wants to get rid of her Iphone and get a Galaxy S III now.If I had to complain about the phone, I will say that I think the battery is not quite as good as I had hoped. I think some of that may be my K9 Mail App that seems to get hung up a lot. The phone is saying that it is running almost as much as the cell phone standby.
As far as build quality, I really have trouble understanding why everybody says it feels cheap. I think it feels great. I also would question how many people don't put some sort of case on there phones? If there's a case on your phone, then how can you tell if the battery back comes off or not? Just a thought.
So, the conclusion for me is that the phone has an amazing display, excellent speed, and the size really doesn't feel any bigger than the GSII to me. This in my opinion, is the best smart phone on the market (but for how long?). The one thing I have done is removed the crappy back cover that says AT&T and put on a Samsung GSIII Global back that just says Samsung. I'm not into advertising for other companies. Hope this helps someone that is considering the Galaxy S III.
