"Great for teens and beginners!! "

The good: Great touch screen. Bright display. Rear speaker is loud and clear. Pretty snappy. QWERTY keyboard is great. Call quality is superb. Wifi and ships with Android 2.1 GPS support is awesome. Optical trackpad.

The bad: Can feel a bit sluggish at times (not all phones are perfect) The auto brightness feature is a little off. Battery life could be better. No flash on camera. No flash support (yet) Back and home buttons occasionally bugged up. No light indicator to alert for missed calls messages etc.

Summary: This phone is actually pretty awesome! I upgraded to this from my LG Rumor 2. This is a MAJOR step up to it. Since Im pretty new to smart phones and Android I feel this is good for beginners to mid-range users. A power user would definitely not be comfortable, but like I stated before beginners this is your choice. Its not a 4g of course so dont expect speeds beyond belief, but it gets the job done. Plus it has WiFi if you really need it. The phone feels pretty fast, if you have too many apps running it slows down but it seems the 800 mhz processor is ok. All in all if you want Android, and are on a budget I say go for it! Im 16 and love this phone! All my friends hog it at school lol. Keyboard is great for txting! I have heard that some models the data modem shuts off or the back and home buttons dont work, so be sure to check that out at the store before purchase. Luckily mine has little to no bugs in it!! I give it a 7 out of 10

Samsung is at it again, and they're expanding their Android horizons by focusing on more than one demographic.  Hot off the Galaxy S announcements a few weeks ago, the mid-range Intercept has landed at Sprint.  Complete with Android 2.1, a full QWERTY keyboard, and 3G connectivity, the replacement to the Samsung Moment offers a nice feature set at a reasonable price.  That being said, the focus seems to be around high-profile devices like the EVO 4G, DROID X, Incredible,... more...
