very, very impressed very few cons

Posted on: June 10th, 2010 by Izzy Lancaster

The good: resistive touch screen is very responsive, internet is lightning fast (some websites loaded faster than my iPod touch), gorgeous AMOLED display, easy to type on QWERTY keyboard, TouchWiz UI, nearly everything although it is big it feels solid and good quality, nice call qualityThe bad: Gets smudges on it easier than most touch screen devices, no virtual keyboard even though it has an accerlometer, no web browser widget except the My Verizon pageSummary: The Samsung Rogue is by far the best phone I ever have owned. It was a huge upgrade from my Alias. Besides a few flaws I am in love with this phone. I would certainly recommend this to my friends and family. Nice going Samsung!

loving the phone =]

Posted on: January 22nd, 2010 by Anonymous

The good: i love the screen and the feel of the phone. especially the keyboard. the phone is greatThe bad: keyboard is a little to get used to but its amazing. hate the fact that has accelerometer but no virtual keyboard. also battery is kind of weak. and it has no word guesser like the blackberry does.Summary: i love the phone and the way it feels in my hands. i don't care about the size cause a phone is a phone no matter what. the keyboard is fabulous and the screen is fantastic. since the phone can be upgraded, Samsung should add a virtual keyboard and a better battery that is the same size but a much higher capacity. the phone does lack a little bit but its not problem for me. the web browser is fantastic and i love the way you can zoom in and out of the screen. the camera is gorgeous takes amazing pictures and the best part about it is that you can draw on it. over all the phone is really amazing and i definitely recommend it.

THE best messaging phone in verizon's current lineup

Posted on: January 4th, 2010 by joey purser

The good: Great AMOLED touchscreen, touchwiz interface, 3 megapixel camera works great, solid sliding mecganism, moveable banners and clocks, accelerometer, awesome web browser. The bad: layout of QWERTY keyboard is frustrating at first, backplate is hard to get off.Summary: I have had the samsung rogue since Christmas, so about 11 days and it is fantastic. The keyboard was kind of hard to type on at first because of the curser keys and the number row being at the top putting the space bar in the middle of the bottom letter row but I got used to it. I had the voyager before this and another voyager before the voyager i had before this. I hate the voyager. The tilting screen mechanism broke and eventually the right hinge broke off. So I went to get a new voyager after my first one broke and after 4 or 5 months with it the same thing happened. So for Christmas i asked for this one because of the whole sliding mechanism because I don't have good luck with the clamshell design. Anyway right after I got this phone I immediately fell in love with it, well in love to the extent to where a guy can love his phone without being called weird. It was the best messaging phone that I had ever used...which the only ones that I have used are my previous voyagers, my friend's rant, my other friend's vu, and my girlfriend's juke. Well anyway this phone is great. The touchscreen is super-responsive, I never have to calibrate it *shakes fist wildly in the air* but the voyager's touchscreen had to be calibrated constantly. The camera is great, I can take pictures in the dark with the flash *shakes fist wildly again* but the voyager's camera couldn't take nighttime pictures. It's very small to where I could actually put it in my pocket without mistaking it for a ten pound weight *shakes fist again* the voyager was humungous!!!!! So my overall perspective is if you are looking for a messaging phone on verizon you should really take a look at this one. But if you get a voyager you'll wanna kill yourself!

Can't believe the improvement

Posted on: September 17th, 2009 by Nick Potraz

The good: Great size and great touch screen, Good qwerty board and the widget bar is awesome. The bad: It doesn't lock right away when you make a call.Summary: I really like this phone. I had the LG voyager before it and the improvement of the tech. is great.I also had the Samsung glyde to, and since this is suppose to be the next model the difference is amazing. I love this phone.
