VERY GOOD FONE

Posted on: February 4th, 2010 by Brad Streeter

The good: very very good fone. i've had my fone for alittle over 2 years and its been amazing. no problems at all!! and u can turn off the camera sound. i've dropped this fone so many times plus dropped it in water PLUS had a girlfriend throw the fone across the room and hit the wall. The bad: 1. i text ALOT on my fone and my pound (#) key is starting to become hard to push2. i charge my fone EVERYNIGHT and have had to replace the battery twice3. if you talk for the fone for longer than an hour, the fone gets REALLY hotSummary: this fone is amazing. yes its very basic and the pictures are kinda lame but its a very nice fone for calling and texting.

Samsung U410 Very basic but good and cheap phone.

Posted on: July 18th, 2008 by Colin W.

The good: Good for calling and texting. If you use Koodo's and want to get a cheap phone but expensive plan I suggest either:Samsung SCH-U410 -OR- Motorola KRZR Samsung Pros: Cheap with a few good features -such as a VGA camera which has some cool fun tools such as black and white effects or like frames such as roses. -Looks cool with the colors on the menu and the dialing font is rainbow or set to your own colors-Has calander, voice memo, notepad-Holds 500 contacts (if youThe bad: Cons:-Do not take picture of bad guys in the crime scene unless you know that you can beat them up. Because there is no option to get rid of the sound effect when taking picture and the only cool sound effect that goes "Say Cheeese!" is really loud so make sure your far away. There are 3 other sound effects tho which r basically a shutter sound.-This con is the worst ever it has the SHITTEST ringtones EVVAAAR and the ones you buy cost $4 without preview thought they have a lot some are rSummary: Overall it is nice but I am really angry because I'm the guy who ones to stand out and not get stuff everyone else has so I love to customize my things and I'm the guy who likes to buy everything first like the case, headset etc. first before using my phone but im low on budget and you cant do much wit the phone unless you will risk it for software or some genius to hack your phone or whatever. I suggest doing this after 1 year or your warranty will be void. but with koodos 30day return which you can switch to any phone it is good but you can only do it once.So basically if your really really basic and dont care about ring tone or anything and just need to get one for your kid or something or call people or talk a long time (cuz battery is good) this is the phone which will be free on a $75 dollar tab which will take about a year to get rid of but you can eventually either pay off the tab and get a new phone or cancel koodos or use the remianing of tab to get a new phone. If you want a bit better phone DO NOT get the cheaper motorola please get the KRZR not super good but much better than motorola even this samsung is better than that one. but KRZR acceps MP3 and other stuff so its pretty good and looks cool but I only want MP3 for ring tones I just want one good custom ring tone so yeah.Basicaly this phone is good if you want to save money and stick with basic or use the saved money for expensive but good plan which you probably wont need unless your a business man with good contacts or if your Bill Gates. So that is my review hope you like it share with your friends and contact me through email: buynsell22@hotmail.com -OR- Skype: clownboy22. If your some weird guy plz dont bother me. I currently own this phone but tried the KRZR too so if you need comparison help and I also studied Koodos alot.Hope this helps

Small, light, good working cheap phone!

Posted on: October 30th, 2007 by P S

The good: Small, vivid display, strong vibe, bluetooth & cost. The bad: Small, vivid display, strong vibe, bluetooth & cost.Summary: Purchased new, from Verizon, two weeks ago.Maybe not as flashy as razor, but it performs really well. I don't much care if it?s sexy, since it spends most of its life in my side pants pocket, where I hardly know its there thanks to it small size and light weight. Reception is equal or better than my last phone, a Motorola V265, in the same areas. Audio is loud and clear. No one on the other end has complained about not hearing or understanding me. I do not believe I have used the speaker phone much, if at all.The Bluetooth works great. Although I have no previous Bluetooth experience, I have had no issues. The camera does take slightly blurry / grainy pics. It?s only a VGA. I don?t need a camera on my phone, but the phones without have poor reviews. If you desire a camera with a phone on it, get the Samsung SCH-a990.Battery lasted 3 days with much use. When texting there are three modes: abc, word and 123. Word types out the intended word most of the time, but when it doesn't there are no choices. The only fix I have found is to switch to abc mode. This is done by holding down the * key.The ring volume is a little weak even on high. One more minor thing; the #1 speed dial is factory set for voicemail and not changeable.
