"Notable Speakerphone"
The good: Exceptional speakerphone capability with little to no distortion at highest volume. Speakerphone volume and clarity bests any model of mobile phone, PDA or smartphone of which I'm aware. Excellent for conversation, good for texting. The bad: Materials and design, crowded dialpad has poor contrast in pink colour (I'd recommend the blue with green contrast to highlight the dialpad, though no help with the other keys). Poor for any use except conversing and texting.Summary: I recently finished a highway road trip with a convertible, and when a girlfriend produced this phone from her purse, I laughed. First impression was as that of a toy, until hearing the maximum speakerphone volume. Both sides of conversations on speakerphone were quite clear for a mobile phone, even against an open motorcar with road noise. At lowest volume the speakerphone remains very clear in quiet environments. The sound volume and simple design should make this an excellent phone for noisy environments as well as for those with fading hearing, but the dialpad and keypad design would probably severely undermine it for the elderly. The display is adequate for texting and GPS.
