It's very hard for me to find a replacement...

Posted on: July 26th, 2007 by Scott McGregor

The good: Intuitive, durable/resilient, smallThe bad: Terrible camera, tiny memory, screen difficult to see in direct sunlightSummary: I'm now shopping to replace my T610 (it's not dead yet, but it's on the out) and I'm finding it quite hard to track down a decent replacement. This phone has lasted me for 3 years now with no problems... Of late it's had a couple of tweaky little things happen, like minor problems with the direction toggle and keys locking up, but nothing that's really stopped me. Overall I'd say this phone is just about perfect if you're looking for a decent bluetooth phone that can also handle some moderate text messaging (but don't count on taking pictures with it).

Good Phone but for Short Amount of Time

Posted on: August 31st, 2006 by Neal Shah

The good: Bluetooth, Infrared, Long Battery Life, High Picture Quality, Vibrating Alerts, CompactThe bad: Outdated, Easy to get Dirty, Drops EasilySummary: Good phone but not for a permanent phone; more like a temporary solution. Connect to friends with Bluetooth and download their files. Gets really dirty really fast.

Sony Ericsson T610 Positve Review

Posted on: August 30th, 2006 by Nick Mai

The good: great reception, good camera, nice LCD, small, good sound qualityThe bad: buttons hard to press, moving up and down is hard, IR receiver too smallSummary: The Sony Ericsson T610 is an overall very high quality cell phone. It receives great reception from the network and has easy usage of bluetooth technology. Although its buttons are hard to press, its larger than average LCD makes up for it. The battery life is great and the camera produces great pictures. It is a good product.

T 610

Posted on: August 23rd, 2006 by Rajesh C

The good: Sturdy phone, good reception, fantastic battery lifeThe bad: no speaker phone, cannot see anything in day light, poor camera qualitySummary: I have this phone for over a year now. I am pretty happy with it. It is very (I mean very) sturdy. I have dropped it many times but it still holds on. The talk time is very good last easily for 4 days without any charging. Over all very good buy.

Decent cell phone for a good price

Posted on: August 23rd, 2006 by daniel chan

The good: Like all sony ericsson cell phones, it has both the bluetooth and infrared features. Also it comes with the online surfing features where I can download songs and wallpapers without going through the computer. The bad: The control buttons are sometimes pretty tight, and also the loading time for some of the features takes a little bit too long. Summary: I got this cell phone for $50 after a mail in rebate from my carrier and I would say it pretty much feeds my needs, it comes with online surfing features, pretty good mp3 sounds, organizers that includes games, a stopwatch, and calendars. Also the battery last a pretty long time for this cell phone, I can continously use it for a couple of hours without stopping. My overall experience is nice with this cell phone.

The T610 is a great, feature-rich phone!

Posted on: August 15th, 2006 by Timothy Zirkel

The good: BluetoothInfraredColor ScreenCameraThe bad: Low gain antennaSummary: The T610 is an excellent phone. I've used the infrared and Bluetooth to connect to my computer both to use the phone as a modem and to use the computer as a voice gateway. Using a Bluetooth headset is much more convenient than using a wired headset, and I feel that having some sort of handsfree option while driving is a must. I've used the camera many times. Although the resolution is low compared to a standalone digital camera, it's nice to not miss pictures on occasions when I don't have a digital camera handy. Sending and receiving address book entries via Bluetooth or infrared is easy and convenient. The only real problem I've had is a software bug that surfaces maybe once every couple of months that causes the phone to not ring when there is an incoming call. I highly recommend the T610 for anybody looking for a high quality and feature-rich mobile phone.
