Schmackdown! HTC Sensation vs T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

The HTC Sensation and T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide might look different, but they are closely related under the skin. Using identical processors, they also have the identical amount of memory and storage, and use the same version of the Android operating system. They also use the same overall version of HTC's Sense user interface, although there's a slightly different look on each phone.

Where the two phones differ is in their physical characteristics, so Wirefly's Bob Kovacs spends some time discussing those in this Wirefly Schmackdown.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide Review - Part 1

The T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide is a major update to the original myTouch 4G that came out in the fall of 2010. Manufactured by HTC, the myTouch 4G Slide has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4G network speeds, 1080p HD video capability and a physical slide-out keyboard. In this video, Wirefly's Bob Kovacs takes a close look at the phone's features, compares it with other phones and runs standard benchmark tests.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide Review - Part 2

This is Part-2 of Wirefly's two-part review of the T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide cell phone. In this video, Wirefly's Bob Kovacs takes a close look at the phone's camera, and takes several photos in various camera modes. He also shows video clips.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide Unboxing

The T-Mobile myTouch 4G was a powerful phone when it debuted in the fall of 2010, and it remains a powerful phone today. However, the new T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide add a substantial allotment of power, as well as new features such as a slide-out keyboard. In particular, the myTouch 4G Slide has an advanced 8-megapixel camera that can also capture HD video at 1080p.

In this video, Wirefly's Bob Kovacs unboxes a new myTouch 4G Slide to see what is in the package.

I had gotten this phone from someone on craigslist, i read reviews, watched videos and i liked the screen size and the performance people were praising about it. So i waited for a good deal, some girl sold me it for 240.00, she was moving and trying to score some easy money, so i jumped on it and bought it the next day. The only thing i regret about this phone is not protecting it as soon as i could of with a trident case...i got a scruff on its top right corner, other then that the phone has been working amazingly. The colors and performance is eye-popping and fluid. I have no complaints, i'm just upgrading the SD CARD to a class ten and i have ghost armor on the screen with a trident case, this is one of the best phones T-Mobile offers, plus the camera is the best part, i will not buy another phone with a camera of less quality then this...awesome phone you won't regret it. and btw the qwerty works great too

best android phone ive used

Solid qwerty, excellent screen, colors are not washed out like I've seen some other phones, super responsive, great performance when using apps and playing movies, aweb browsing, built very well, I've dropped mine several times and its still trucking without any problems, great reception, fast speeds most of the time, ranging from 2mb to 7mb on the download and upload is usually in the 2 megabyte range, I guess it depends on where you live too, I've owned the OG Droid, sensation, and the G2X, the g2x was buggier and the sensation believe it or not wasn't as smooth when it came to.performance, my only take was that the mytouch 4G slide is pushing less pixels around, but the screen is excellent
