UTStarcom SUCKS.

Posted on: September 10th, 2010 by Sydney Thats Confidential

The good: cute looking, small, slides, full keyboardThe bad: image quality is bad, doesn't take video, bad service, the screen looks weird, can't hear people talkingSummary: Good phone? Yeah maybe for the first few months you have it. Then it starts going haywire. Wherever I go, I don't get any service. I have to walk around holding my phone up in the air looking like a retard just to get 1 bar. And every once in a blue moon when I actually do have service, and someone calls me, the phone needs to be put on speaker for me to hear them. If its not on speaker its dead silent. And to get service you have to place your phone in a certain position where it gets bars, then after a while your wondering why your not getting any texts, and that's because all of a sudden there's no service again. What happens when your in an emergency situation and you need help? Its not like you can call someone to help you.. chances are you won't have service! Save your money and get a phone that actually works.

Great Phone Great Cost

Posted on: June 22nd, 2009 by Veronica Shelton

The good: Compact, Easy to use keyboard, Easy on the eyes, Fun to open, Simply phone with full potential. The bad: No contract=no video, hard to upload pictures, very simple interface, no OTA downloads, small storage for messages, thats about itSummary: I bought this phone as a backup while my blackberry was being fixed, and boy oh boy was I surprised. I loved it. It was so easy to use and as a young adult it was great to maneuver while I was out and about. This phone is perfect for texting. And the shape of it is just like a compact so going out clubbing with it in hand was as simple and comfortable as ever. Great phone for the young tech-heads, and great if you enjoy texting. Even though my blackberry is fixed and I recieved my palm pre I still take my Blitz with me on my nights out instead.

Best phone i've owned

Posted on: February 22nd, 2009 by Dave R

The good: Easy to use, great keyboard, extremely sturdayThe bad: So so video quaility, weak camera, no wap downloadsSummary: This is honestly the best phone i've ever owned. I bought it based on the form and for the qwerty keyboard, but it's exceeded my expectations. It has a good wireless browser, and easy to use functions. Also i love that its built kinda tough. I've dropped mine down the stairs of my house without a scratch to be found, and after accidentally pouring coffee all over it, it still works like the day i bought it.

Great Phone

Posted on: January 17th, 2009 by Nick P.

The good: Small, Easy to Carry, Great for textersThe bad: Thick, Voice quality could be betterSummary: I upgraded from my RAZR in November, which I found too difficult for doing things (such as text messaging). I text a lot more that i talk, so this was the best phone for me. Its really easy to carry, but it is a little bit thick. The screen is very nice, and it is quite customizable. Also, the keyboard is very nice. The keys are easy to push, but still feel firm. One bummer is that the voice quality could be better, and no EVDO(but i don't really care). All in all it is a great phone, and I am very satisfied.

Great little phone!

Posted on: December 9th, 2008 by Deborah A

The good: This phone has more features than I expected, but am pleasantly surprised. Has AVR for all hands-free operation, compact, easy to use.The bad: None that I can find, so far. But, would love to find a case w/belt clip for this phone.Summary: I just got my phone and love it. The text messaging is easy to use, comes with a tips, hints, and shortcuts booklet that is extremely helpful. The screen is large and easy to see. Very user-friendly. It appears to be very sturdy, which is very important. The clarity in sound is great, too. I would definitely recommend this phone for whoever needs the features that are offered with it. I didn't something that is more like a Blackberry, this phone is just enough for me.

Can't beat the Blitz

Posted on: October 25th, 2008 by Melissa Smith

The good: Not everyone has it.Cute size and shape, nice color, easy keyboardThe bad: No video, no evdo, but it's not necessary...Summary: Great form factor, nice simple phone with full qwerty. It's for the person who doesn't need a smartphone but likes the bigger screen, nicer keyboard, and bar form. Slider is smooth, color is not as awful as it appears in pix, phone has been a pleasure to use and I'm very happy I purchased this!!
