i have never used the MDA phone before, but it i know its crazy.
i have one, and it needs repair. i've been tryin to repair it for the past year. evry technician i went, they told me that they dont have any parts for it....i found another technician and he replace the screen for me and also provide me a battery, but now it needs a keyboard ribbon (i'm not sure if thats it.) but the keyboard buttons aren't working...i really wana get it working, so if there's anyone who can help me out, please send me a email at, kollegeman@gmail.com

I use a HTC T-Mobile MDA and am trying to sync it using active sync 4.1 and i checked off the features i wanted to synch and all of them synched except contacts. I deleted the partnership and started a new onr and made sure i had contacks checked, but it still wouldn't sync contacts. appointmrnts and clendar synched fine but no contacts. what did i do wrong? i have ik contacts and dont want to type them in on my desktop.

PROS1.)great for texting/internet browsing. (i will never own another phone without a full keyboard)
2.)touch screen makes web browsing extremely simple
3.)slot for external SD allows for more memory than you will ever need
CONS
1.)difficult to use for the first week.
2.)stylist pens are very easy to loose and expensive to replace.
SUMMARY
great phone for the price. hopefully T-mobile will come out with a new touch interface that doesn't use a stylist pen.

PROScompact, easy=to-use. much less bulky than the treo or the palm
CONS
lacks infared. limits its' use in real estate when showing homes.
SUMMARY
I love it, but its' lack of infared means I have to carry an extra piece of equipment whick bulks up my pockets.

i bought this mda 6 months ago i am very happy i use it more for tax messaging and internet browser then talking on cell i did buy a differnt battery and it does last 7 hours i hear thats pretty good for a smart phone

T-Mobile has launched the new HTC MDA for use on its GSM network. T-Mobile is offering the phone for $349.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and when purchased with a new contract. The MDA offers Bluetooth technology, Windows Media Player, EDGE technology, and expandable mini SD memory slot.

Here at PhoneDog we see phones normally come available through Let's Talk and Wirefly 10 to 14 days after being introduced by the cellular carrier. As phone distrubutors, Wirefly and Let's Talk generally offer all phones at substantially lower prices than T-Mobile direct when purchasing a new phone with a plan.

Consumers using Cingular and Sprint can upgrade their phone and extend their agreement here. Customers of Verizon, T-Mobile, Alltel and others should contact their provider directly for upgrade availability.
