Surprise, surprise.  After seeing leaked pictures of the device with AT&T branding earlier in the year, the LG Arena has officially made its way to the nation's second largest wireless carrier.  Features include a 3-inch WVGA touchscreen, 5.0-megapixel camera, LG's S-Class UI, GPS, Wi-Fi connectivity, and AT&T's Mobile TV service.  The Arena will arrive online on February 26th, with retail availability pegged for March 7th.  Expect it to cost $199 after a $50 mail-in rebate and new two-year customer agreement.

So, we have a featurephone that costs the same amount as a 16 GB iPhone 3GS (and that's after rebate, mind you).  Keeping that in mind, is anyone interested in purchasing the phone?  If you're up for a bit of light reading, the full press release can be found here.

According to leaked pictures circulating on the internet, the LG Arena (a version of it) is on its way to AT&T.  Neither LG or AT&T have announced it by any means, but the GT950 shown in the picture above distinctly carries the logo of the nation's second largest wireless carrier.  Specifications include a 3.0-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen, a 5.0-megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, 8 GB of internal storage, and the manufacturer's S-Class UI.

Another good feature phone in the carrier's lineup - perhaps we'll hear more at CES next week.  Anyone interested in this device?

- Very Low memory for text messages only 500 maximum
-Each page of a text message counts as 1 draining the text memory (a text with 3 pages counts as 3), others each text even if it is more than 1 page only counts as 1 (a text with 3 pages counts as 1)
-Dictionary style is not that user friendly as like the nokia dictionary in text messaging -touch sensitive screen is not as responsive as the iPhone
-it locks itself earlier even if you set it lock at a later time

SUMMARY

Expect the KM900 to launch within the next few days.  With it landing on T-Mobile UK, we can only hope that the US will see it sooner rather than later.
