It is always better to have a higher Mah (milliamp hrs) rating for the battery. All it means is that it will last longer than one with a lower rating.

You can take the qwerty off to make the phone lighter to carry, like on a morning walk. You can still text via a touch qwerty that is on the screen, so it's not like you lose the ability to text via qwerty.

I have had mine for two days and have had no problems transferring videos and music via bluetooth from a Macbook running Tiger to the phone. Once it was set up, both the phone and computer remember each other everytime I turn bluetooth on. I use iskysoft converter to convert videos to 3gp format. Meg4 did not transfer. I wanted a touch screen phone that had a cover over the screen (my last phone's screen got all scratched up). I looked at the Krave and liked the icon and font size on the display (I did'nt have to put my reading glasses on),but the Versa had the keyboard whch my big thumbs like. But, I have had no problems with the on screen keyboard nor with the sceen navigation. Highly recommended.

i currently have the samsung glyde and i HATE it. the touch screen NEVER works properly and it doesn't have a start/end call button(s). The versa has those buttons, which is a plus.. but how is the "touch-ability" of this phone??

The LG Versa VX9600 is overall a very neat phone. It is pretty much like a Voyager but somewhat different in different ways, shapes, and forms. This phone i tried out at Verizon and have liked it. I think it is a good product. Let's hope you feel the same way.

i had the dare for 8 months..its a shitty phone i wouldnt recommend it to anybody...
i just got the lg Versa Saturday and its amazing...
its so much better than anyother phone...

Versa isn't the successor to the LG Dare, but it sure looks like it. Noah pits LG's two Verizon VCast touchscreen phones against each other in a PhoneDogFight!

My husband has the omnia and LOVES it. It's very user friendly. Much easier than my Storm which I returned 7 days after purchasing it when it died. With the omnia you will have to pay for the data plan. The versa you do not. Otherwise the Omnia (a smartphone) is going to do more of course than the versa. The camera is also great if you care!

I was deciding between getting the Chocolate 3 and the Versa. I used the Versa for an hour in Verizon. I don't see why people complain about it? Its my idea of the perfect phone! Then again I'm a kid in middle school, who texts a lot. That is the phone is really targeting.

DEFINATELY THIS!!!! i used the dare and its touch screen is so sucky. the versas screen is much more responsive and everything is much quicker.

This phone is SWEET!! i used one at the VZ store and the keyboard was nice, but id probobly end up using the touch screen cuz its so responsive. still the idea of the customizable case thing is great!
