Yesterday Sprint announced business email access for non-PDA phones. Essentially this means that you can connect to your workplace email from a handful of non-smartphones, so long as your work runs Microsoft Exchange Server or IBM Lotus Notes. The new service debuted today on the Samsung Instinct (you've heard of that one, right?) and will be rolling out in the coming weeks on 11 more, including the Rumor by LG; Katana and Katana II by Sanyo; and the Motorola RAZR, RAZR 2 and KRZR.

Could you tell I cribbed some of that paragraph from the press release? It's Friday - I'm feeling lazy. Basically this should add welcomed functionality for folks who don't really want or need a smartphone but have to keep tabs on that work account. So, you know, if you're the type who likes to spend Wednesday mornings at the beach with your KRZR instead of at the office with your Treo, this is for you. Actually, now that I think about it, this makes the Rumor a powerhouse of a cheap little handset so long as you don't need full Web access or mind the small display.

Breaks really easily!My LCD/the front screen broke only two weeks after i bought it!!! the voice record doesn't work and hasn't worked since i got the phone!!! buttons are wearing off!!! wouldn't spend my money on a phone like this!!!! the battery life is very poor and does not charge fast at all when it is turned on!!!

PROSSlim, lightweight, nice buttons, excellent display both inside and out. Clear sound - people ask all the time, are you there? Like it pretty well.

You can only add 2 mp3 ringtones or you kill the alarm clock functions
SUMMARY
Not bad. Liked the V3m better, it had a memory slot and the alarm clock didn't freeze up. Good phone though.

PROSVery slim, and light, and all the basic feature you need in a cell phone, along with bluetooth compatibility, and speakerphone, and a video camera in addition to a regular camera

Battery life is not great, it gets 2-2.5 hours talktime, but that is the sacrifice for such a small phone, and also I would have like a feature for ringing and vibrating for an incoming call that my old phone, it was quite convenient

Overall this phone is great, since all I use it for is basic things, like calling and text messaging. Except for some minor things like lack of ringing and vibrating simultaneously for an incoming call, I would have preferred a longer battery life, but I knew about its short battery before I bought it. Other than that its great, it's small, light, and has plenty of features

The Motorola Razor is overall a very good phone to buy there may be some down falls but the pros over the cons win. Many phones don't have the qualities of the Motorola Razor, it gives you many options to choose from.

Overall, its a great phone. Nice design and definitely looks nice using it. The reception quality really depends on what service you use. I'm not going to say my service, but it tends to drop calls a lot even though they say they drop the least amount!

PROSIt's sleek, lightweight, fits anywhere and the camera is useful.
CONS
The sound can be terrible, the photos are often grainy, and it can be easily forgotten in clothing or dropped without you noticing.
SUMMARY
I like the look and feel of the RAZR, but next time I'll probably go for something a little more substantial -- I'm always worried about this one dropping or being left in a pocket, and the sound quality is not that great. There are fun features, like the photo address book, and having the camera with video is nice, but I want to see what better options are out there.

I haven't been much of a fan for motorolas for two reasons: the low capacity to hold text messages and the long time it takes to load pictures, even the thumbnails. This phone has improved quite a bit on that holding over 100 texts and speeding up a bit, but one thing i hate about it is that when i text, i type texts faster than the phone picks up so i find myself finishing a sentence and the phone still typing. Overall this phone looks very good and isn't bad. I wuold recommend it to girls mostly.

This phone is great with many functions. I always use my phone for taking pictures, 'bluetoothing', and for an alarm clock. Many people compliment me on ho sleek and ne it looks. At night, I always lose it! It is black like my backpack, so I lose it if i put it in my backpack. Full-black phones are not that handy. Other than that, GREAT PHONE.

I find this phone very handy. It's thin so it easily fits in my purses. I found that the batter life is fairly short so I have to charge it every day. It doesn't come with many ringtones to start with so that's a down side.

In gerneral my V3 Razor is a great phone. It has above average reception. It does not have much memory or a place to add additional memory (that is in the v3I Razor). It is a great looking phone and quite durable.
