Ordinarily I'd hate to be inside on such a glorious Indian Summer day here in Northern California, but it's CTIA week, so I'm happily posting from the Billboard Mobile Entertainment Live! conference at the Eslpanade Ballroom here in Moscone ... where, yes, I'm munching on a complimentary chocolate bar shaped like a cell phone.
The show gets started in earnest tomorrow, but today is... While attending CTIA this March in Orlando, Noah captured the experience on his camcorder and created his Cellular Madness video. After the show when CTIA announced that they were having their first annual Wireless Chronicals Video Journal Contest, Noah took his chances and submitted his entry.
To all of our delight, Noah won! He was awarded a free trip to CTIA WIRELESS 2008 next April in Las Vegas. So stay tuned for... Related CommentsHey Noah, if it is marketed as a smartphone compared to the voyagers "messaging" does that mean that to have internet it would cost the verizon charge of $45 a month compared to the voyagers access of internet by needing v-cast only for $15 a month?? Scotty - I believe it does light up, but can't remember for sure. I can't imagine that it wouldn't, though. Even though the one I played with was a GSM model, there are a lot of rumors going around that Verizon will be offering it soon as a CDMA handset. On the one hand that doesn't make much sense to me since the LG Voyager is about to launch on VZW, but on the other hand you never know. In some ways it would make sense, particularly since... Hey Noah - Does the keyboard light up on that phone? If you had to guess which carrier would offer the F700? How much will they cost and where can I get one? Aack!! - Adam, you're right and thanks for catching my typo. I do, in fact, mean June 11th for all of the reasons you specified. What happens April 11th?
