About webOS

Palm introduced webOS in 2009 as a new platform for their Palm Pre and Pixi smartphone devices.  Palm was then purchased by Hewlett Packard (HP) in 2010.  HP continues to perfect webOS as it is considered one of the best operating systems available on the market.  With the introduction of new smartphones and tablets in 2011, HP's webOS product will continue to shine.

Humza Ahmed WebOS TVs? I'd give it a month before ones spotted running Android.
Mark Belkowski webos is done, nothing else to talk about.
Matt Jackson Android "wasn't that good" when it first came out; neither was ios. The tragedy that is webos is in what it could have been. Poor hardware support brought it down before webos had the opportunity to fully flourish. With enough time it could have easily competed against Apple and Google.
Devin Tolliver @Jesse Ling. Even though webOS wasnt "that good", people saw its potential and what it could become. I'd go as far to say that it would be competing with Android and iOS if it had better hardware.
Lennes Shaw Naw..Lg should use it just for smart tv

Mark Belkowski ashok, in your dreams it will.
Ashok Kumar I feel ubuntu will come as a powerful OS in future
Damian Butler Getting a GS3 soon, had to dump Apple. "never looking back" ANDROIDS!
Mark Belkowski Android is open source. I have no need or want for Ubuntu.
Brandon Holley Loll people don't understand Android is open source and it is doing amazingly. So let's not say if they would switch over but rather would it be around 5 years from now? Doubt it.
