Aaron unboxes the Google Play Edition of the HTC One - complete with stock Android 4.2.2 Jellybean!  Available now on the Google Play store for $599.99, the stock Android HTC One packs the same specifications as the Sense-laden version, including a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 4.7-inch 1080p HD display, 4-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, 2 GB of RAM, 2,300 mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity (on AT&T and T-Mobile), and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

It's fantastic that stock Android fans have a new smartphone to choose from, but the lack of HTC Sense 5 means that the phone is missing some great features, including HTC Zoe (and associated camera enhancements), HTC BlinkFeed, and an application to take advantage of the IR blaster at the top of the phone.  Is it worth passing on some useful new features just to get rid of HTC's in-house UI?
