In a way, they're in similar positions.  HTC is fighting to revive profits after a few years of poor performance, and BlackBerry is gunning for the third place mobile OS spot after iOS and Android.  They're both coming soon to the US, so what better way to vet them than to put them into a PhoneDog dogfight battle!  Aaron referees.

The HTC One's specifications:

  • 2 GB of RAM
  • 32/64 GB configurations

The BlackBerry Z10's specifications:

  • 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU
  • 4.2-inch HD
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • 1,800 mAh removable battery
  • BlackBerry 10

The HTC One is coming soon to AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, while the BlackBerry Z10 is coming soon to AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.  Which one is the best?  Part 1 of 2.
