They're identically priced on AT&T, but these Android smartphones have slightly different specifications.  The HTC One VX offers a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 4.5-inch qHD display, 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, 4G LTE, a 1,810 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 with HTC Sense 4.1.  The Pantech Discover sports a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU, 4.8-inch HD display, 12.6-megapixel camera with 1080p recording, 4G LTE, and Android 4.0 with Pantech's UI.  They're both $49.99 with a two-year agreement.

Which one comes out on top in the dogfight battle, the established brand with slightly lower specs, or the supercharged smartphone newcomer?  Part 1 of 2.

Faustine Enitsuaf Pantech has way better specs.: HD vs qHD, 1.5 duo gigs vs 1.2, 12.6MP vs 5MP shooter, 4.8" vs 4.5" display... I'd go for specs rather than brand. #PANTECH
