For the past few months, I've been carrying the Samsung Galaxy Note II.  It's a big device, but I love the battery life and features - not to mention the latest version of TouchWiz, Samsung's user interface.  I find that it brings some fantastic software additions to Android.

The HTC One X+ is HTC's update to the One X, and it brings some nice features to the table, including a 1.7 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 CPU, 4.7-inch HD (720p) display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, 64 GB of internal storage, 4G LTE, and a 2,100 mAh battery.  The downside?  Unlike the DROID DNA, it only offers 1 GB of RAM.  Given how much of a resource hog Sense UI can be, it could be an issue.

I'll spend quite a bit of time in this 30-day challenge analyzing some of the differences between TouchWiz and Sense at length, in addition to hardware differences.  If you're looking at Android, you're probably considering Samsung and HTC, as they're the current industry heavyweights.  I hope you'll join me for the ride!  In the meantime, tweet me your questions (@PhoneDog_Aaron) and I'll do my best to address them in subsequent videos.  Let the games begin!

Steven Benham Good to see you back here Aaron, i got a feeling the sence ui will come across as cleaner and more finished then touchwiz, cant wait to see the 30 day findings,
Steven Benham I just got the S3, it impresses me every day with functions and features, i do really like it, however the custom widgets and ability to resize app icons of the one x plus and integrated weather app do look real good, the one thing that annoyed me with the S3 was clutter, too many pointless icons, a pointless webpage icon row where you cant delete the pre loaded ones that you'll never use, and busy wallpapers, i searched the play ans samsung store for plain wallpapers but nothing, in the end i took a picture of my black sofa up close with no flash and used it as the wallpaper, plain black, perfect,
Rashaud Cook This is the best htc phone. Better then the S3
John Leasure I bought this instead of upgrading from iPhone 4. It's a great phone. I tried the SG3 but liked the feel and screen on the HTC.
Marcus Samual Winchester Try putting an sd card inside lol....nah, I think you should try to test it's durability, battery life and monitor if the GUI runs smooth or laggy
Ace Fernandez Well I have the HTC One X+ and I don't have any problems with it!!! Bravo HTC!!!
Angel Hernandez I had the one x+, nothing too impressive other then the 64gb. The tegra 3 processor gets way too hot and it stutters at playing games like nova 3 and mc4.
Jeff Seaver First thing I no like about HTC is the switch off and On on top not easy to reach companies to Galaxy on right hand side. Even HTC look better quality package but Galaxy feels better in hand or say modern design comparison to HTC old looking design with camera in back coming out.
Matt Ellis I tried the one X+ but the speaker phone was garbage. Maybe because the GS3 has a better speaker but I wonder how Aaron feels about it.
Naveen Bhatia i am debating between this one x Samsung S4
Abram Wenevermet Dennis HTC phones are trash..
Luay Maani Welcome back Aaron HTC One X+ is a pretty? old... personally i prefer other devices for the 30 days challenge looking forward for an LG phones challenges
Kristoff Lewandowski Ah that's what I was missing!
