Aaron reviews the HTC One X, HTC's newest Ice Cream Sandwich flagship smartphone.  Featuring a 1.5 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor (in the global version), the One X offers a 4.7-inch HD (720p) display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording capabilities (and some cool tricks!), a 1,800 mAh non-removable battery, front-facing camera, and Android 4.0 with HTC Sense 4.  It's a feature-packed device, and is the first Android phone with a quad-core processor to hit retail stores.

It's coming soon to AT&T with 4G LTE connectivity, though the quad-core CPU will be replaced by a dual-core unit.  Is it the One for you?  Part 1 of 2.

mamoonN This is the smartphone I am going to buy from AT&T this summer.
Bernardo G. da Silva Hi Aaron, Bernardo Silva speaking, I'm ahead of androidplace.blog.br blog. Phonedog you and I as a reference to create my blog and also the creation of future videos with "unboxes" and analyzes. I think in the beginning can be difficult to test products. I? seek a sponsor for this project becomes a success. Can you help me? Thank you. My contact is contato@androidplace.blog.br
Sophie Bevan I wouldn't buy this BECAUSE of the non-removable battery - I watch at least 2 hours of video a day on my phone (train journey), so with this, after about a year I'd probably have to buy another one because I can't replace the original battery? Dumb, especially at the price (I am in Italy - it costs €600!)
Kushal Dev My two complaints about the ATT version is lack of quad core and low battery for an LTE phone with a 4.7 inch HD display. If those two were fixed this would definitely be my phone.
Ryan Anton I think it's great, but the white one looks way cooler to me
Razvan Razv No sd card and no removable battery? Wow ... wtf is wrong with you people ? (why you need a removable battery? wanna keep this phone for ten years ?).
Razvan Razv Alfredo, the phones from the One series are totally different from the older htc models ( the evo3d is a piece of s*** in terms of design / materials )
Chris Delgado To bad that network is made of Bologna sandwiches!
Jacob Koehler I really want the One S. The X = too high of a res and not enough horsepower on the US version. Why not give us the quad core processor and not 4G? It's not like 4G is extremely distributed in the US anyways. And even if it was forget that!
Anonymous I think its really cool. I just wish it had a quadcore also in the US version. Thats blows for sure

Jamel Sankey Does anybody have any specs on the sg3
Brendon Bowers Maybe I was misunderstanding what htc told me but I thought out of the one series, only one was gettin a quad core phone which was goin to be for t Mobile ? Or are each of them gettin the quad core ?
Onur Alagöz I think I'm gonna wait for the Galaxy S3 to come out. That will be a beast
J Litz Van Adam Brewington, the AT&T version is supposed to blow every other phone out of the water when it comes to speed tests. I'm just wondering how much memory is available through, dropbox & how that effects music players.
Melissa Cruz-Guzmán Supposedly the US version won't have quad core Tegra 3 because its not compatible with LTE. Also, its rumored that Sprint will call this the HTC EVO One. Supposedly with a bigger non removable battery, SD slot, LTE, and a kickstand. Hopefully it'll all be true. :)
Adam Brewington Why must the US make everything suck? I mean "Let's take this quad core monster and turn it into just another android phone, that sucks." Whose fucking genius idea was that?
Kris Morris I agree with jimmy
