Aaron takes a look at the HTC Titan, and as the name sounds, it's the Big Papa of Windows Phones.  Specifications include a 1.5 GHz single-core Snapdragon CPU, 4.7-inch Super LCD (huge!), 8-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, 1,600 mAh battery, and Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango).  It's available now at AT&T for $199.99, and supports the carrier's HSPA+ (4G) network up to 14.4 Mbps.  It's an awesome phone, but can it - and Windows Phone as a whole - compete with AT&T's Android and iOS offerings?  Part 1 of 2.

Roger Rodriguez
Roger Rodriguez I flashed WP7 on my HD2. I wasn't impressed one bit. The Windows market must offer more and better apps.
Jared Prado

biglou508
biglou508 you dont need duel core for windows ely
Drew Page
Drew Page Windows Phones 7.5 is optimized for single core processors though.
Ely Nakano
Ely Nakano Single core....nuff said...LOL
Mark Belkowski
Mark Belkowski wp7 has been out for well over a year and has yet to make a big dent, android is where it's at.
Marvin Oubre
Marvin Oubre I just bought a used Samsung Focus Windows 7 phone on eBay. It will be my secondary phone used for traveling once I unlock it.
Pierce G Hohenstein
Pierce G Hohenstein I do have faith in WP7
Luis Carlos Diaz Sananes
Luis Carlos Diaz Sananes Yes they are but they are far behind from a marketing/promotion POV although they have the financial power to do so. Windows may have an Ace up the sleeve with Windows 8 and how this OS integrates with Tablets, Smartphones and PC in both Home and Office... But my hopes are not too high!
Hunter Messer
Hunter Messer WP7 is in the shadows. Something we notice one in a while but we focus more on the think making the shadow and that is iPhone and Android.
Nicholas Saulino
Nicholas Saulino I do not believe Windows phones will catch on. There's simply just no room for another app market/store right now. And without apps, smartphones don't have a point. Windows phones might just be fad, like Blackberries, and just fade away. This is just my opinion of course.
Eduardo Ordaz
Eduardo Ordaz Malware doesnt come from the legit market it comes from countries that dont have the official Android market. Most of the reports come from other parts china, russia because people there can only buy apps on third party app stores. Thats where all the malware comes from. And most of it is spyware. Small chance u will get hit by malware if u only get ur apps on Legit sources u really trust.
Freddy P
Freddy P William William William..your type of logic is flawed my brethren. Apps in android look nothin like iOS. iOS apps are more smoother & fluid. WP7 apps dnt compare atm. Nice layout n transitions tho.
Charles Phillips
Charles Phillips Open you own eyes..
Charles Phillips
Charles Phillips William Hall...You suck....You have never seen 50% of the apps on Android....What an idiot!!1
Eduardo Ordaz
Eduardo Ordaz Dont think so. Tried it its boring plus the apps r better in IOS and Android where they are legit and checked.
William Hall
William Hall Windows Phone is doing a lot of marketing. Just search youtube cus last time i checked, this phone was 6 stories tall in the middle of new york. As for it not having anything different. It does, its cus most of everybody is too stupid to actually learn about anything new. I used to be an Iphone fan, and then i got smart and opened my mind and found that this phone does it better. Also you dont need a fb app as it is built in. The apps are amazing for this phone!!! you just dont actually pay attention to them. Plus app are on the devs part not microsoft. 200,000 apps on android, and 50% of them are crap. A lot are malware that can steal your money. Most crash your phone, and they all look that same as IOS. Open your eyes please!!!
Anthony Ercolani
Anthony Ercolani I have been impressed with WP7... I have had iPhones and I just recently bought a Motorola Photon.... to be honest, I have yet to find an OS that is as smooth as WP7... never any lag at all and my Android phone has lag all the time. I think I might get a WP7 phone soon. I am not a power user by any means so there is no need for me to have a dual core Android phone.
Andrew Johnson
Andrew Johnson Windows has a phone? LOL
Stefen Stockwell
Stefen Stockwell I got a bionic based on your review and love it.
Kerri Kershaw
Kerri Kershaw Went from a Quantum to my new Radar...extremely happy!!! Come from a background of everything, very very happy with WP and Mango!
Allan De León Morales
Allan De León Morales I think that with Nokia and Xbox new interface, WP7 its on the rigth direction... But theres no comparison to apple's big marketing and brainwash publicity... Anyway i Love my WP7 :)
Joshua G. Franco
Joshua G. Franco Making progress? I have a year and a half old Samsung focus and it does everything this one does.. Its just bigger and better cam.. The apps are one of wp7 downfall they all suck.. Especially the fb app. Wish there was a way to get ios or android fb app.. And the apps that are decent arent free...And u can't customizE anything.. my android Samsung infuse 4g fell and cracked that's why I'm using this.. . :( I miss swype lol
Jonathan Zurcher
Jonathan Zurcher the phone looks about a 7/10 but the review was great. quic
Nicholas Saulino
Nicholas Saulino I'd say it's on par with Google+s growth rate.
Stefan Daniel
Stefan Daniel Yes , i think so
Ever Reyes
Ever Reyes Awesome phone! Does everything I want and need for business, school, and personal. Windows phone, " doesn't need app for that" Stop trolling you iPhone fan boys.
Ernest Marvin Esteban
Ernest Marvin Esteban Making progress? Obviously No.
Herman Guerra
Herman Guerra You can advertise it all you want but in the end its just flat out hideous and you cant do anything about it.
Arvydas Grušeckas
Arvydas Grušeckas WP is very good, better than any other OS, but lack of good advertising is very bad. Nokia is doing good work :)
Jesus G. Nolasco
Jesus G. Nolasco Better than iphone!
Erick Contreras
Erick Contreras I have said this once and i will say it again, u can have a great product but if u dont advertise well enough that product will not sell. When i say advertise i mean show what u bring new to the table that no one else has. You can literally have a product that is last generation and sell good if u have good advertising(cough iphone 3g cough iphone 3gs cough iphone 4 cough iphone 4s cough)
