Aaron takes a look at two reasonably priced Android handsets from Verizon and AT&T.  The HTC Vivid packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor, 4.5-inch qHD Super LCD (540x960 pixels), 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, 1,620 mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity, and Android 2.3 with HTC Sense 3.0.  It's available from AT&T for $99.99.  The LG Spectrum packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 4.5-inch IPS HD (720p) display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, 1,830 mAh battery, and Android 2.3 with LG's custom UI.  It's available now for $199.99 at Verizon Wireless.

They're both powerful high-end devices with killer price tags, but only one can win the dogfight.  Which one will it be?  Part 1 of 2.

Drew Page Definitely the Vivid. It has a much better design, and I actually like HTC's Sense vs. LG's user interface.

Joyce McDaniel I would be happy to own anyone of them. My phone is very old.
Reese Woodson The Vivi is a good phone, but the speaker sucks and battery life is terrible. That's the thing about HTC, they put terrible tinysounding speakers and small batteries in their phones.
Paul Alexandru Richard , what u say nigga?
ComputerChris2 How about the spectrum vs thrill? 3D vs HD :p
Eric Kroh Rezound has really bad battery life says htc's product manager..plus be said sense is REALLY cluttered..hehhe
Michael Kergosien Jr None. Resound.
Richard Allen Yarrell Lg SUCKS EGGS just like those SORRY IPHONE USERS. Galaxy Nexus rules all especially on Verizon.

Chayse Collier @Michael Ford: Because the Rezound would win, hands down! The camera is amazing and so is the screen. I've only had the phone for 3 days and I've been playing a lot of GTA 3 when I'm supposed to be working lol
David Tambascio well Spectrum is an LG product so that is out.. and Vivid isn't a Verizon product, so that is out.
Kristopher Davis David Dipilla probably owns a CRAP iPhone and talking about lag..LOL..I've seen more lag on iPhones than any top end Android..my Android will smoke ur iPhone for sure!! What Android are you comparing to? A Samsung intercept? Lol

Bob Fitzgerald Rezound! Just because Verizon didn't market good enough doesn't mean we still can't win dogfights!
Leobardo Ruiz I have an evo 3d and I gotta say this isn't that bad a phone the main problem is the battery and that wasn't a problem when I had the epic 4g so yeah LG and Samsung batteries are really close so I gotta say LG wins
