Aaron unboxes T-Mobile's HTC Wildfire S, a mid-range Android smartphone that was announced earlier in the year at Mobile World Congress.  Replacing the original (and very popular) HTC Wildfire, specifications include a 600 MHz Qualcomm CPU, 3.2-inch display, 5-megapixel camera with flash, 1,230 mAh battery, and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with HTC Sense 2.1.  It's available now for $79.99 (after mail-in rebate) on a two-year agreement, and is a good choice for a first-time smartphone user.

Vlad Valentine McBride Ive seen way too many wild fires this year the last thing I would want is a phone with a name wild fire
Steve Moore
Steve Moore I agree with Steve, HTC has issues with battery life and their wireless radios. I have an Evo 3D and the battery doesn't last for a whole day with moderate usage, also I can never get a good signal in my house. I just got the Photon 4G yesterday and problems solved. Not as sexy as my Evo but way more functional . I'll take substance over sexy any day... well, when it comes to phones anyway...
