Aaron does an early review of the HTC Windows Phone 8X, coming soon to several carriers in the US.  Featuring a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch HD display, 8-megapixel camera, and Windows Phone 8.  It's a hot smartphone, but can Windows Phone 8 compete with Android and iOS?

Choki Kun too small ... but i like to see 1st phablet using windows :)
Javier Segura Finally an alternative to Android crap phones and iOS, jellybean still crashes apps way more than my old iPhone. Defiantly getting this.
Jim Hagerty It will be a huge flop unless Microsoft offers an update to disable the new mobile OS UI screen. The company is clearly trying to usher in the tablet-laptop hybrid era. However, rolling out a mobile operating system for desktops, laptops and notebooks isn't a way to do it. There are some aspects of Windows 8 that are slick. But, there are too many steps that, in all, I believe most people will find too time-consuming and counterproductive. Take iOS for example. Say what you want about it. But, Apple has always attempted to make the user experience simple first before adding bells and whistles. Windows actually did that for almost 20 years with the traditional Windows platform. However, with Windows 8, Microsoft is going at this new platform as if it already has stronghold on the mobile market and its fans are just going to gravitate towards the next big thing. However, truthfully, Windows Phone has been a significant disappointment since day one. I, personally, believe Microsoft needs to rethink being in the smartphone game at all unless it eyes making its own hardware. Many companies will find that out in the near future.
Stephen Fierz Windows 8 for PC is going to be a big flop for computers I predict. It may already be.
Jim Hagerty I would have to agree that Microsoft needs to stop....Take a breather and seriously think about hardware if it wants to stay in the wireless business. Because they're becoming just another fragmented Android monster.
Jim Hagerty I've previewed this device. In my opinion it is just OK. Windows 8 is lousy in that there are a million bells and whistles and just as many steps to get them to work. All of this is simply not needed. #sensoryoverload. #fail.
Bo Abe Vorachack I wish the screen was bigger.
Chris Arrington I take that back. Nokia killed Nokia.
Chris Arrington Can Microsoft just stop it with cellphones already. They killed Nokia. I'm bitter.
Matt Cude Lumina 920, I'm switching carriers for that beast. Better than the same icrap for the past 5 years and more interesting than the same android stuff I'm been running for 4.
Yongky Siaw Love this device
Darrell Wax lumia 920-is where its at.
Ezekiel Carsella pretty dang awesome
Jacky On "They are not good at releasing updates." That is a flat out lie. First generation Windows Phone can update to Windows Phone 7.8 which is a total of 4 updates.
Joanna Enrique Ramos Love my galaxy3!
Michael Schneider after playing with the windows 8 software all weekend im thinking about getting it.
Lisa Noid-Washington I don't think it will do well.. they are not good at releasing updates
Brandon Worley HTC best hardware available w8? I will have yo get one as s demo unit and find out...
Wei Ern Another crap beside android
Tim Jarred Witherspoon I like it, it's just that if it had android I would definitely consume this as my next phone.. I'm arguing between this and the One S!
