How different is Eris from the GSM and Sprint versions of the Hero? Well, the form factor, soft touch, and capacitive buttons have won me over. That's right, one of the Euopean phone's most ardent advocates (in terms of aesthetic design) has switched teams. I haven't tried those other Heroes since some software optimizations so I can't speak to their current performance, but Eris is purring like a kitten...most of the time.
