Just when you thought this Friday was going to be boring, it's time for another dogfight battle!  Aaron throws AT&T's LG Nitro HD and Verizon's HTC Rezound into the ring for an epic dogfight battle.  The LG Nitro HD is available at AT&T for $249.99 and sports a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU, 4.5-inch IPS true HD (720p) display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, and Android 2.3.5 with LG's custom UI.  The HTC Rezound can be had at Verizon for $249.99, and has a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch true HD (720p) display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, Android 2.3.4 with HTC Sense 3.5.

They're both powerful Android phones, but one can take home the dogfight medal.  Which one will it be?  Part 1 of 2.

Richard Wilson I don't like niether one. You've pointed out everything I wouldn't like!!
Kimmy Bobbett
Kimmy Bobbett iOS is for smart phone beginners who don't have the time or knowledge to tweek their phones. If you're looking for something simple and basic, then yeah, iPhone is for you. If you're looking for a totally customized and unique experience, Android all the way.
Brandon Salyer
Brandon Salyer How people think anything besides the two options in an either/or conversation is relevant is beyond me.
Mike Ambartsumyan
Mike Ambartsumyan actually iPhones are now cheaper than alot of android phones out there, so the argument that Android is for people that can't afford iPhones is now invalid, its personal preference like for me iOS is just to simple I prefer something a bit more complicated and customizable like android, i ideally I would like to have something as complicated as winmo 6.5 that runs as smooth as iOS and the UI looks as good as ice cream sandwich

Ethan Shrago
Ethan Shrago Nitro by far. I would run a launcher anyway so the UI doesn't really matter. I like Sense and LG's UI so it really doesn't matter. BTW I think lg's UI is better than touch whiz... Just my opinion.
Ezekiel Carsella
Ezekiel Carsella HTC cuz of the custom layer
Shahid Khan
Shahid Khan I have to say neither, as its Iphone all d way, Android is just for those (like me) who cant afford an iphone & just have to make do with tacky copies of Apple like Android. Htc is rubbish as is Lg. If i really had to use Android phone, it would hav to be manufactured by Samsung. I have a Htc & its sh#t! Android users to criticize Apple are just jealous & bitter as they cant afford it, so try to put ever1 else down!!
ShehrYar Asghar
ShehrYar Asghar Rezound because LG copies everyone

Kristopher Rapier
Kristopher Rapier I agree LG never updates and HTC is slow to update, but atleast rooting and customizing an HTC is easier. I was running a Sense 3.5 ROM on my Droid Inc 2 before I switched to CM7, now I'm running CM9 Beta with Android 4.0.3
