Aaron reviews the Motorola DROID 3, the third QWERTY Android device from Verizon.  Feature-wise, it competes with the high-end boys on the market with a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, front-facing shooter, a fantastic physical QWERTY keyboard, and Android 2.3 with the newest build of Motorola's Applications Platform.

The only potential downfall?  It's lacking 4G LTE, leading many to look past it for the ThunderBolt, Revolution, or DROID Charge.  Is the DROID 3 worth considering amongst Verizon's other high-end smartphones?  We'll find out.  Part 1 of 2.

Axel Jaramillo I want it! But i just got in a two year contract with att with the inspire 4g :\ i miss physical keyboards and "motoblur" (i dont remember what its called now).
Allyson McAtamney i dont agree. why not have a mini-tablet type-thing?
Jermonn J-Trillion Richardson Of course....Can't wait to get one of my own
Maria Ortiz HTC faster
Justin Hall Motorola sucks. My Droid 2 was replaced 4 times. I gave up and bought an HTC. Works great.
Ron Scott This phone will fail to hit it's core super phone base. It's not the ram ( my G2x has 512 ) because it's going to be faster due to the duel core. I know that loading in page flash on a 3g signal is frustrating and the same for downloading apps. Nobody will pay super phone money for yester-tech and 3g is permanent yester-tech. Place it in the museum and never half step on phones you sell to tech geeks. On the other hand, if you travel alot it would be nice to not have to chase an LTE signal. If you're into world travel, meet your android.
Zach Cline How big does a screen need to be? 4" inches to 4.3 inches is big enough.
Jean Pacrim Come on now??? Is there any os improvement??? Its the same android!!! Still laggy,buggy... Fragmented piece of crap...
Eric Kroh 3g/4" screen...when will this be improved upon.
Tab Stockwell I love the physical keyboard. Coming from a Blackberry and having long nails, this one would be great. That's about the only thing I like ;-/ since I'm an HTC fan
Josh Alvarez Gotta see that video
Zach Cline Too many idiots worried about glitch 4G . Have to drain that battery faster lol.
Brady Cox As well he should be, haha!!
Shop Kick If you pay gun bros on droid friend me plz, need more bros!
Robert Skeen If he was, something must b wrong him.
Hans Jaramillo It's kind of sad Verizon isn't marketing the Droid 3 as hard as the Droid and Incredible. :( I bet the Droid Bionic will get a massive amount of marketing.
John Cruz I would be better if it had 4g lte
Cyr Parlapiano Itll be out soon its been con firmed and yeh hes totqally right 512mb of ram and a dual core chip was stupid. If motoblur is on board the ram will be like an evo with sense wait for a 1gb ram device as dual core is becoming standard fare. Droid 3 failed in my book.
Chad Richter The bionic has been delayed indefinitely. So im going with this phone now.
Michael White Your just an idiot
Nathaniel Hull I dont think it has enough ram to be a good superphone
Patrick Turpin Same chris, i want this, but i don't know if i should wait for the Bionic
Chris Luna Tempted to get this phone, my upgrade discount starts today hmmmm...
Facebook user Be sure to also watch part 2. http://www.phonedog.com/videos/motorola-droid-3-video-review-part-2/
Patrick Turpin yea i think HAIRon was impressed :)
