This is the Windows Phone that could turn the tide for the mobile operating system.  Aaron does an in-depth review of the Nokia Lumia 900, and at $99.99, it's a serious force to be reckoned with.  Featuring a 1.4 GHz single-core Snapdragon CPU, Lumia 900 has a 4.3-inch AMOLED display with ClearBlack technology, 8-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, 1,830 mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity, and Windows Phone 7.5.  Is Nokia back?  Part 1 of 2.

Jonnel Rzykruski
Jonnel Rzykruski Im pretty sure most of the bashers of windows phone haven't tried any WP device. Specs are great but be sure your device would pe stable as our single core devices. The review is ok, but there are some features left unsaid.
Curt Popejoy
Curt Popejoy Can't wait for the Lumia 900/Titan II dogfight.
Patrick Tam
Patrick Tam I'm thinking of getting this off contract and trying it out . All my phones were Nokia but they were cheap ones. Then I got the iPhone 4 then the 4s. Windows phone looks nice. I think they did a better Job tuning it than apple. Why have a dual core if it is so well optimized? Specs don't really matter if the os doesn't have support for it. You can put a 8 core in android and all it would do would waste battery. This just shows how good Microsoft has come. Maybe when windows 8 comes out an people like it they might switch to windows phone.
Brennan Heugly
Brennan Heugly Sorry Aaron, I hate when you do Windows Phone reviews, because you don't give them justice. You can tell from the beginning you know nothing about Windows Phone.
Josh Randt
Josh Randt HTC One X come out already!!!
Josh Randt
Josh Randt Not with those bunk ass screen specs..Windows needs to step up their game
Gerald Mccrae
Gerald Mccrae I'll take a blackberry first before I take a windows phone I hate Internet explore bing and of course wp
Travis Langtree
Travis Langtree While not as popular as IOS or Android at least every commenter knows what a windows phone is. I see lots of potential in these phones. When Windows 8 comes out more so.
Corey Stock
Corey Stock Oh, and Apple sucks:)
Corey Stock
Corey Stock I would definitely take this over an iPhone. It may not have killer specs, but I would still place this in the high end category. Are some people really stupid enough to say that because it has a SINGLE core processor its a piece of crap? Last time I checked, it has less lag than ANY android phone. Stop trying to bash these phones because you're a fanboy.
Eduardo Ordaz
Eduardo Ordaz Nope. There are other alternatives that r better and that people like more.
Jason Matsukawa
Jason Matsukawa I hope so.
Nick Costanzo
Nick Costanzo Not at all.
Michael A. Barut
Michael A. Barut Hope so, but IMO, ATT says they will market the Lumia big, but I dont think they will with the iPhone still being their #1 seller and not to anger Apple
William B Rogers
William B Rogers Windows phones SUCK Android is fast but like windows phones they freeze up. iOS does not freeze nor does it lag, but screen size needs to change still too small.
Fonzy Paniagua
Fonzy Paniagua Windows is just to fucken boring !
Zach Cline
Zach Cline Jacob I don't know what you were doing on your iPhone to make it run slow like that but my music always opens up immediately.
Jermaine Mercurius

Jose Angel Santiago
Jose Angel Santiago Windows phones are Zzzzzzzzz!!!!
Alan Holmes
Alan Holmes Windows Mobile is a good OS. It has 3 problems 1) No high end hardware 2) Still missing some critical app's people want. 3) Poor and non-existent marketing campaign.
David DiPilla
David DiPilla Iphone 5 will take the cake this year
David DiPilla
David DiPilla Android phones suck laggy pieces of crap
Jacob McClure
Jacob McClure Everyone that's hating on windows phone has probably never even had one. The fact is, yes we do have low specs, but our OS is so optimized to run efficiently without hiccup is what gives it the speed. I've had both high end android phones and and apple phone, infact I still have my Galaxy, and they aren't near as fast. The fact is, Microsoft does not fund their marketing division near as much as they should. Not only that the lack of apps on the windows phone market is horrendously low compared to both android and apple iOS. I love my windows phone, music is great, I never get lock ups or slow downs. Where as on the iPhone I constantly found myself waiting 40-50 seconds just to open music. The Lumina 900 will be a great phone. And so will the next generation of Windows 8 phones. Just my opinion
Ray W. Scott
Ray W. Scott No apps, no power, no go. I am waiting for the HTC one X
Gwendolyn Suzanne Harris Kight
Gwendolyn Suzanne Harris Kight I can't stand Windows phones. I will always be loyal to Apple.
Jeff Kennedy
Jeff Kennedy Windows sucks, no one wants another Microsoft monopoly
Zach Cline
Zach Cline 480x800 resolution plus 1.4 single core processor = Fail
Jacky On
Jacky On Windows phone is good. People just aren't willing to try.
Don Harris
Don Harris It will need the right marketing or everyone will sleep on it.
Zach Cline
Zach Cline I don't see it happening. From what I've seen from the reviews it's not that great.
Stian Grøtåsen
Stian Grøtåsen I think it might eat some market shares from RIM, but I don't think wp has momentum enough to take market shares from Android and iOS yet. We'll see though. I might be wrong.
Ethan Alberts
Ethan Alberts windows is to low spec not enough work spent on the market. can not complete with android and apples low spec is just so crappy then only thing good about it is there app store that's it and siri actually specs are crappy how long are they gina have 1ghz dual core look at tegra or better yet look at or even better look at omap5 or exynos 5250 or 5450 or snapdragon s4 qaud runing at 2.5 ghz
Dhruv Thakkar
Dhruv Thakkar no ! Not @ all .. Galaxy nexus is all time awesome ' Gsm version
Nick Kathrein
Nick Kathrein I think it can be a good seller for 1st time buyers who don't know about phones since the price is low but people who have had smartphones would compare it to other phones with HD Screens and might not choose it.
Mithun Gatade
Mithun Gatade Not a chance.....
Muhammad Khan
Muhammad Khan no cracked apps = no competition
Mick de Raad
Mick de Raad No, people are way too unfamilliar with WP7 and people are way too spec-greedy, thus not giving this phone the overhyped status as the iPhone or android phones such as the galaxy S 2 has.
Nirav Insomniac
Nirav Insomniac Lol
William Wadsworth
William Wadsworth Windows phone, while a good concept, simply cannot compete with Android or iOS. It will remain in the same category as Web OS or Symbian.
Edgar Emanuel Rivera Rojas
Edgar Emanuel Rivera Rojas No
