In this update to the Nokia Lumia 920 challenge, I've talked at length about the challenges Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 needs to overcome in order to be successful in the mobile space, so in this video, I'm flipping topic to the benefits of Windows Phone 8.  Microsoft's OS is easy to use and offers fantastic fluidity across the board, but beyond that, it brings to the table some fantastic features like an integrated People Hub and Live Tile integration for customization.  The ecosystem could be better and Microsoft's Store needs more of the big-name apps, but make no doubt about it - there are some great things to like about Windows Phone.

Vincent Pendleton Better Aaron, much better. Try showcasing the voice on your next video.
Anonymous love the smooth lag free OS, awesome build quality, exceptional camera, here maps+drive..The only sore point is lack of popular apps :( (they are coming slowly BUT if nokia wants to stay in the game, they need to buckup or else they would go down like BB )
Anonymous I've been using a WP8 device for months. I love it and haven't even considered going back to Android.
Dayne Gyll
Dayne Gyll Windows software is crap, and so is Apple. So I'm gonna have to with Android haha
Ronald Michael Clayton
Ronald Michael Clayton The 920 is a unsung hero of smart phone devices and people won't give it a chance because doesn't do a whole bunch of cheap tricks and gimmicks
Larry Ayonn
Larry Ayonn I will say that Camera360 for W8 has a much nicer UI than on Android or iOS!
Larry Ayonn
Larry Ayonn Instagram (which I heard is on the way later this month) and games mostly. The free ones on Android are WAY better, and frankly, too many damn $5.99 apps which may or may not be all that great.
Ryan Rees-Williams
Ryan Rees-Williams Hard to say, I love the changeable covers for my Lumia 820 but if I want a AAA game like Modern Combat I usually have to commit most of my storage to it and get rid of my current games, hopefully in the next couple of generations when I finally upgrade the standard will be something like at least 16Gb storage
Ryan Rees-Williams
Ryan Rees-Williams What sort of apps are you missing? there are a bunch of confirmed apps that are on their way to the ecosystem
Ryan Rees-Williams
Ryan Rees-Williams Most apps that give you push notifications (I believe that WhatsApp and WeChat do have them) have a settings feature to enable or disable it, I think that it's a store submission requirement along with a digital certificate that you have to request from Microsoft to have that option
Ryan Rees-Williams
Ryan Rees-Williams Your comment is such a breath of fresh air, too many people that are unwilling to even give a chance to something new :P
Ben Bauer
Ben Bauer Depends on the device. I wouldn't choose it over the HTC One or the Galaxy S4, but if I were wanting to keep in the 100 bucks or under range, I would definitely do it.
