Aaron unboxes the Pantech Burst, the first device to come from CES 2012 and another AT&T 4G LTE smartphone.  Available on January 22nd, the Burst offers a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capabilities, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1,650 mAh battery, and Android 2.3.5 with Pantech's custom UI.

It's one of the best mid-range Android devices to date, but it'll get some hot competition once the other CES 2012 devices make their way to retail shelves.  Is it worth the $49.99?

Matthew Dyer I can upgrade but I'm done 4 months till Verizon!!! Can't wait I'm counting down the days!!!
Brandon Johnson I love how android users complain about the iphone not having 4g, you'll be bitching about the metwork being congested when, Apple does decide 4g is widespread enough to put a radio in.
Hunter Tea I got my rezound for 50$ so I was stoked
Karl D. Green Suprise how fast this device is for $49.99. Esp a PANTECH DEVICE.
Jose Angel Santiago Oops take care of their phones
Jose Angel Santiago I agree with Danny. Why waist an upgrade buying a cheap phone if you can spend a little extra cash and buy a higher end phone (name brand). Unless your getting the phone for one of your kids, which usually dont take of their phones because they arent paying for it.
Robert Centennial Great review but I do have a question. You said it was a mid-range device. What makes it mid-range cause it seems pretty top of the line spec'd? Is it the name?
Danny Nease I don't understand why anyone would waste an upgrade on a phone like this. I mean, paying an extra $150-$250 is worth it considering the amount of time the device will be used.
Tim Miyashiro Nah, I got an HTC Surround when it went on sale at Fry's. 200$ is pretty cheap for an unlocked-no-contract phone.
Carlton Littlejohn Nope on verizon plus no 4g in my area.
George Millhouse never ever buy pantech
Victor Rios Pshh no I have Sprint FTW!!!
Jesus G. Nolasco Wow this 50 dollar phone has LTE but the iphone 4s doesnt?? Lol APPLE sucks!
Matthew Ryan Vargas shut-up moron
