Pantech's going a step beyond their re-entry into the smartphone field - they're taking their push to tablets as well.  The manufacturer unveiled the Pantech Element this morning at AT&T's Developer Conference at CES 2012 in Las Vegas, and like the other devices, it offers connectivity on AT&T's 4G LTE network.  It'll be available on January 22nd for $299.99, and offers a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 8-inch display, 5-megapixel rear camera with 720p HD video recording, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and Android 3.2 (Honeycomb).  If that weren't enough, it's waterproof.  Good for the kids or the trip outside!

Reinaldo Alvarez Maldonado There has been a need for it, there is need for it and always will be somebody who needs it. Have you tried to use for more than 2 hours the screen keyboard is bad ofr your eyes and if you are traveling can make you sick. On the other hand the real keyboard is not much improvement but is more comfortable to write long documents and chat for long hours.

Evan Arashiro Pantech isn't exactly known for high end devices, and the fact that they made a tablet makes me question how good its gonna be. But hey, i'm not gonna judge a book by its cover.
Mike Marchak Great device and good product from a reliable company.
