As usual, CTIA (#CTIAW2012 on Twitter) doesn't start until tomorrow, but the phone announcements are already pouring in.  Aaron gets some hands-on time with the Samsung Focus 2, AT&T's third 4G LTE Windows Phone.  The Focus 2 has a 1.4 GHz single-core Snapdragon CPU, 4-inch Super AMOLED display (480x800 pixels), 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, and Windows Phone 7.5.  Obviously, the specs aren't anything to get too excited about, but the $49.99 price point and LTE connectivity will be great for those looking for a low-cost smartphone.

Eduardo Ordaz
Eduardo Ordaz @Antonio I have tried the wp os now that is past due it's boring. Android and iOS are familiar to people and pick what they like between the 2. Has for viruses I had my android phone the whole 2 years and never had any signs of viruses. What most people believe here is that WP7 is past due. Because IOS and Android r better than that.

Antonio L. Lopez Droid means Rebooting,Forever Buffering and Forever Downloading what's the point,,,not even with dual core processors can't beat My Lumia 900 in speed and accuracy,Droid is a past due account full of viruses and malware
Michael Benesa
Michael Benesa @jorge: Static icons of IOS and Android are the definition of excitement... Give me a f#cking break. If you like widgets and a busy, fragmented OS, then stick with your beloved android. If app-launchers with no social integration whatsoever are your thing, then stick with IOS. For the rest of us non-sheep who appreciate true social integration in an OS and a modern, fluid, minimalist design, stick with Windows. By the end of the year, with the release of the Apollo/ win8 updates and new hardware, more developers will be onboard and you'll begin to really see the beauty of the windows OS.
Felipe Bautista
Felipe Bautista Doubt it.
Gerald Mccrae
Gerald Mccrae It will never be a windows year the only reason it look like there selling now is because they found a company to force the software on like Nokia who in return have to sell it 100 dollar up front and then give you a 100 dollar credit on your bill so it will appear to be selling well when in fact there giving it away
Shahan Najarian
Shahan Najarian I realize sprint switching to lte was a setback in dev. but jesus, get something else out even if its 3g.

Jacky On
Jacky On @Michael: Windows Phone has zero fragmentation, zero lag, convenient quick to look at live tiles, facebook integration, easy bing search along with local scout (I prefer google but bing is not that bad), a hardware button, people hub, xbox live hub, and super fast phone. I'm not saying Android is bad, but Windows Phone isn't bad either. People just give it bad publicity because of their arrogance.

Jonathan Morris And last look
Jason Ramos
Jason Ramos Definately not Windows Phone's year. Apollo will answer that question
Jason Westrupp
Jason Westrupp Once Windows and Windows Phone 8 are both out, the whole ecosystem between pc, cloud, phone, Xbox plus the integration to facebook etc will it more attractive... Bits work now and friends with other platforms are already getting tempted to jump ship...
