The Samsung Galaxy Nexus Challenge has come to a close, and despite loving the 4.65-inch HD display, stock Ice Cream Sandwich interface, and overall form factor, I couldn't shake the issues with the wireless radio and battery life problems.  If I stayed on the LTE network throughout the day, I was charging the 1,850 mAh battery 2-3 times.  Needless to say, that's unacceptable.  Additionally, the wireless radio seemed to struggle in areas where other Verizon phones didn't.

It's a great phone if you're into media, but those that need a device for calls and overall longevity will want to consider another option.  Stay tuned for more phone challenges on the site!

Jeremy Abad
Jeremy Abad I don't have these problems, but I know one person that does. So hopefully it all gets fixed with the new update coming next month. I'm tired of my friend's complaining very irritating. He jumped from iPhone 4s to the Verizon GNEX and he had nothing but complaints... Besides the LTE speeds, when it's working.
Anonymous Nokia Lumia 900
David Hilgendorf
David Hilgendorf First of all I don't have network issues between 3g or 4g or really bad battery life. On 4g I can easily get 13+ hours. With the big screen and being Lte that's pretty darn good compared to other lte devices. I will say this I had a friend in town over the weekend and he had issues with his network unavailable on certain tests we did side by side on our gnexs and I HAD NO PROBLEMS unlike him so it's not just the device. We're testers for 4.0 so just wait till all the improvements that will occur while others are still behind the os and still complaining about there phones. There will NEVER be something perfect in everyones world. That's just the way it is..

Maxi Fabián
Maxi Fabián You should modify your Galaxy Nexus.. Flash a custom kernel, gain root access and perform commands and tweaks, that would boost the phone's capabilities and probably the battery life and the radio signal could get stronger. You must learn your phone's functions, its capabilities, the strong and the weak points and then start modding, that the good about Android, with developers around your phone can get 10 times betters thab out of the box.
Anthony Tat
Anthony Tat lumia 900 would be interesting. curious if they finally made a non-crappy windows phone
