It's time for an Android Samsung dogfight!  Aaron pits the unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note against Verizon's Samsung Galaxy Nexus.  The Galaxy Note is coming soon to AT&T with 4G LTE connectivity, but for now, an unlocked variant (which is what's in the video) can be purchased online.  The international Galaxy Note packs a 1.4 GHz dual-core Exynos processor, 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD display (with 800x1280 pixels), 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, a 2,500 mAh battery, and Android 2.3 with TouchWiz 4.0.  The Galaxy Nexus features a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

They're both fantastic Android devices that should appeal to two different demographics.  Which one should you buy?  We'll take a look.  Part 1 of 2.

Cameron Walton Where is part 2?
Javier Olivarez So I went from iPhone to the Skyrocket and was really excited about getting the Note, BUT I was having a lot off issues with the skyrocket. Over heating, battery dying right away (and being told samsung phones can't charge overnight because they start to get a negative charge) and that a lot of the apps I used on my iPhone sucked on android. The thing that drove me back to apple was the service and the ease. What some of these reviews don't tell you are about things you might be using all the time and they are either too many steps or don't work. Using all this cloud based stuff for music really ate up my data for the month. There are not cloud services that sell music videos. Sorting pictures in a gallery sucks and too many steps. Headsets don't allow volume control, going back and froth between songs. Widgets weren't always responding or working. All they would do is keep sending me back and forth and I have 4 phones before I finally said "screw it" customer service shouldn't be this hard.
Ethan Shrago Neither. Hate the build quality of the nexus, and hate touchwhiz. unless sammy fixes their build quality, i will never buy a sammy phone.
Jacob Grumbles Nexus for sure . Note way too damn big touchpiss all over it. It will never get the real ics just a ios wannabe version aka touchpiss.
Shannon Manns Galaxy Note... I hope that it comes to Verizon.
Devin VandeVelde If u watch this dogfight u will see just how much faster the note is. I wish att version had the exynos though. Note still wins in me opinion.
Tanner Tousey Nexus. I hate touch wiz and the nexus is just more awsome and will get priority updates.
Cesario Brito Jr. Your right Tommy. International version is what I meant.
Tommy D Thompson the European Note would win my vote, NOT AT&T's version with the shitty qualcomm
Cesario Brito Jr. The Note is better. It has better cpu and camera. Nexus just has ICS to its advantage. Give the Note ICS and it blows the Nexus away.
Calvin JW Nexus=horrible battery life, shitty camera. Note=amazing battery life, amazing camera, stylus feature, isc soon Iphone4s=good battery, good camera, feels like last years phone, still horribly locked down Galaxy s3=not out yet, quad core, samoled HD >plus<, outstanding battery life, outstanding camera, outstanding speeds, still amazingly thin Htc=heavy, weaker signal, worse battery life with sense, getting destroyed by Samsung
Ian Slade Galaxy s2
Betty Ng NOTE
Rani Hinnawi Does anyone else think it's ironic how technological advancement makes everything smaller, yet phones keep getting bigger? I personally like the size of the Nokia Lumia 800 and Droid Incredible best, and won't go with anything bigger than 4.3" and non-Android/WP7. I also love HTC and Nokia, so I'm sticking with their devices. Samsungs are cheap quality and the Touchwiz UI reminds me too much of that iOS UI I hate so much
Richard Allen Yarrell @Paul Alexandru...Piss on you and your cartoon looking touchwiz galaxy note...Over bloated laggy bum...
Dani Spain Epic touch >.>
Jordan Mamba WorldPeace Konesavanh When my S II gets ICS, its over for everybody

Adrian Salazar Jr. If the note gets ics definitely the note otherwise the galaxy nexus
Jonathan Z. Dadekian If you are giving a Nexus away I'll take it
Orion Pax The Note is better 10x...better GPU, bigger screen, 16gb + SD card support up to 64gb....and when it gets ICS its over for Nexus..
Nexus!!!
