HTC Rhyme Unboxing
Sydney gets a first look at the HTC Rhyme, the "woman phone" that's apparently not for women, at least according to HTC. It's just for people who like the color Plum and who have a purse. Go figure. The Rhyme ships with several special accessories and supposedly has a design specifically made to 'effortlessly fit into your lifestyle'. It's not a shabby phone, either. With a 3.7-inch Super-LCD display, a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, and a 5-megapixel camera, the Rhyme is a viable smartphone option. Is it the one you should get?
With other "superphones" on the market for the same price as the HTC Rhyme, it may not make any sense to go with the Rhyme. However, as mentioned, the Rhyme comes with several accessories in the box that you can't get with other phones unless you pay extra. Among other things, the box includes a media dock/charging station and a charm to use as a way to be notified of calls even when your phone is in your purse. Is it still worth it?
