8x8 Launches On-site Installation Service for Packet8 Virtual Office Business SubscribersSANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- 8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ: EGHT), the Packet8 broadband Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and videophone communications service provider, today announced the launch of an on-site installation service program for its Packet8 Virtual Office VoIP- hosted PBX phone service.
Through an agreement with CompUSA, Virtual Office subscribers nationwide can now elect to have their service professionally installed by one of CompUSA's Techknowledgists. CompUSA's network of 20,000 certified technicians nationwide provides consumers and businesses with the fastest, most convenient and competitively priced technology services and support available in the United States. While the Packet8 Virtual Office system can easily be self-installed and configured, small businesses with limited internal resources may benefit from delegating the set up and installation process to a team of skilled professionals who can implement the process from start to finish, including customization of the service based on the specific needs of their business. The service is available as an option to Virtual Office subscribers at a cost of $199 for the first three phones installations per site and $49 for each additional phone installation.
