In researching each long distance company that we compare at PhoneDog.com I was able to discover that half of the companies will credit you back for the charges while the other half won't.

VoIP services are not yet as reliable and clear as traditional phone systems. If you have a high-speed internet connection with fast upload (256k) and download speeds, then you are likely to be satisfied with VoIP phone service.

While VoIP phone service is an excellent option for some people, we don't feel it is ready to replace most residential or business phones services.
