This plan includes 500 minutes of outgoing calls to anyone in the United States (including Puerto Rico) and Canada. All the major calling features are also included. A $29.99 activation fee will be charged the first month. As with most VoIP services currently reviewed by PhoneDog.com, call clarity and reliability do not yet rival traditional phone services.

ONLINE ACCOUNT - Vonage has a very easy to use and useful account management site for all customers, which allow you to view recent calls, retrieve and forward voicemails and many other unique features.
BILLING INFORMATION - Vonage only offers online billing. Your credit card is charged automatically on a monthly basis. Your billing cycle starts when your telephone number is assigned to you and your voicemail account is created.
TAXES AND FEES - Vonage charges a 3% Federal Excise Tax on all service charges. Applicable sales tax is charged on service and equipment. Voange also charges a Regulatory Recovery Fee of $1.50 per phone number in your account.
