Hey, remember Tegra, NVIDIA's mobile graphics system on a chip that got caught on video
back in June? I'm headed down to Nvidia's Nvision 2008 conference in
San Jose today to see if I can get an-person glimpse of Tegra in
action. I have been able to find much Tegra-related coming out of
Nvision thus far, save Eitarosoft's announcement that they've made Lamity, their 3D virtual world, available for the platform.
Nvidia's getting serious about smartphones, though, if you take CEO Jen-Hsun Huang at his word. "Our strategy with mobile is to completely focus
on the smartphone," he said during yesterday's conference keynote. "We believe that the smartphone will
become the next personal computer. This is clearly going to be the
second personal computer revolution."
Whatever juicy bits I can dig up today, you know I'll pass 'em along to you right here ... You know I will.
