All of the recent Android hype may be centered around the HTC EVO 4G, but there are other devices, like this unreleased Motorola Android phone, that also deserve our attention. AndroidGuys has received several photos of a new Motorola QWERTY slider that will be the first Android device headed to Metro PCS. According to the tipster, the unnamed phone is running Android 2.1 beneath a Motoblur skin and is packing a 600 MHz processor and a 3 megapixel camera. The device definitely has a Moto Cliq feel to it, although this handset also has its own unique characteristics, like the circle around the "Home" button on the front of the phone. Motorola has been pushing out all kinds of Android devices lately and it's nice to see that they aren't forgetting the pre-paid market with this phone and the i1 for Boost Mobile. It's not going to top the EVO, but it will definitely turn some heads with its sliding QWERTY keyboard, Android-powered Motoblur OS, and the $50 unlimited plans from Metro PCS. There's not much more information to go on right now, but if the multiple leaks of the Motorola Xtreme are any indication, we'll be seeing much more of this device soon. One more shot, this time of the keyboard, is below.
