This just in from the Department of Things I Never Thought I'd Write About: Motorola has stated via their Facebook page that they'll be making an announcement on today's episode of The Oprah Show. No one has any clue about just what Moto will be unveiling, but if they are taking time out of their busy schedule to appear on Oprah's show, hopefully it'll be something big. Perhaps that MZ600 Stingray tablet?
I don't know about you, but I think it's pretty strange that Moto has chosen Oprah's show as the place to announce whatever it is they're going to be announcing. I'm assuming this means we'll be seeing something important that the company really wants the mainstream to know about. If you want to watch Moto's appearance live, check your local listings for today's show times. What do you folks think Motorola will have to say on Oprah's show?
UPDATED: Motorola made their reveal a little early, announcing the Motorola DEFY for T-Mobile. The ruggedized DEFY features a 3.7-inch touchscreen, MOTOBLUR, a 5 megapixel camera with flash, and a Flash Lite-capable browser. There's no word on which version of Android the DEFY is running, but I'd guess that it's 2.1. Motorola says that the DEFY will launch "in time for the holidays." Check out the full press release below.
