Samsung's Galaxy Tab seems to be selling pretty well, but I have a feeling that there are more than a few of us waiting for a cheaper, WiFi-only model before taking the plunge. Unfortunately, it looks like that we'll have to wait a bit longer for a WiFi-only Tab, as Best Buy has posted a note explaining that the device has been delayed by Samsung. After being posted to Best Buy's weekly ads with several errors, like the 7-inch Super AMOLED display that doesn't actually exist, the company has issued a correction notice saying that the WiFi Galaxy Tab "will not be available due to manufacturer delay," that the Sprint Tab is only available in white, and that there is no Tab with a Super AMOLED display.
There's no clue as to when the WiFi-only version of the Galaxy Tab will actually land, so if you were planning on picking one up for the holidays, you may want to begin looking elsewhere. Still, considering that Samsung has sold over 600,000 Tabs since the device launched, I'm sure that they're not too heartbroken about this delay. Are any of you waiting to buy the WiFi-only Galaxy Tab? Or have you now decided to hold off for the Galaxy Tab 2 with a dual-core Orion chip, instead?
