Remember that cheaper unlimited plan for T-Mobile that we told you about way back in the middle of February? Well, after running into a bit of a delay, it appears that the discounted offering is finally about to arrive. According to the screenshot you see above, T-Mobile will be launching a new $79.99 "Truly Unlimited Data + Talk + Text" plan on Wednesday, April 13th, for single-line Even More customers. Before you T-Mo subscribers get ready to switch plans, though, there is one thing you should know about this new option. Our friends at TmoNews have been told that while the data will be unlimited with this plan, you'll see your speeds throttled after surpassing 2GB of usage per month.
While this new T-Mobile plan sounds pretty great at first, anyone that considers him or herself to be a heavy data user will probably want to avoid it. For everyone else, though, this new option is definitely an improvement compared to the current $79.99 offering, which still provides unlimited talk and text but only gives the user 200MB of data per month. What do you think, Magenta faithful? Does this new plan sound appealing to you?
