Ready for another round of speed bumps, T-Mobile customers? Good, because the carrier announced last night that its increasing the speed of its HSPA+ network to 42Mbps in 56 additional markets beginning today. The full list of newly-minted 42Mbps cities is available below.
With this latest expansion, T-Mobile's 42Mbps network now covers 170 million people in 152 different markets, which is nothing to sneeze at. Unfortunately, there aren't any phones in T-Mobile's roster that can actually take advantage of the speedy network, but T-Mo has promised that that'll be changing later this year. T-Mobile’s Faster 4G Network Now Available in More Locations

T-Mobile customers now have access to T-Mobile’s faster 4G network in markets including Baltimore; Boston; Charlotte, N.C.; Hartford and New Haven, Conn.; Indianapolis, Ind.; Lancaster, Pa.; Minneapolis, Minn.; Providence, R.I.; and Washington, D.C., among several others.
