Remember the HTC Proto? The first rumored details about the device surfaced a few weeks ago, and today the Proto is making news again thanks to some leaked images that've surfaced. The shots were posted by The Verge, which was also responsible for the original rumor. HTC's Proto looks to have a fairly rounded design, complete with four curved corners and an oval-shaped rear camera area, as well as the usual HTC and Beats Audio logos. On the front of the device is a trio of Android navigation keys, just like we saw on the One devices.
According to the previous Proto report, that rectangular opening on the phone's face will house a 4-inch WVGA Super LCD display, and that camera around back will be of the 5-megapixel variety. The Proto is also said to feature a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB storage all packed into a body that measures 9.62mm thick. There's still no word on when this thing might launch or what it'll be called when it does, but with IFA getting underway in Berlin next week, that information may not be a mystery for much longer. So now that we've got an idea of what the Proto looks like as well as a possible spec list, what do you all make of the device?
