As you can see in the images above and below, the app features a slide-out menu on its left side that can be used to access the Camera Roll, Timeline and Albums. Meanwhile, there's a camera shortcut and menu button in the upper right corner. Motorola also tweaked the photo thumbnail layout in this update, making them larger and displaying them in the orientation that they were taken.
This new Motorola Gallery app looks pretty spiffy, and as I've said before, it's pretty awesome to see Motorola update its special apps on such a frequent basis. Not only does it show that the company is dedicated to continuously making its apps better, it builds goodwill with consumers that have picked up one of Motorola's recent hardware releases.
The updated Motorola Gallery app is compatible with the Android 4.4-powered Moto X, Moto G, Droid Mini, Droid Ultra and Droid Maxx. If you're rocking one of those devices, you can snag the app from Google Play right here.
