Matthew Kelly, Managing Director of Americas for Yota Devices, has said that the YotaPhone 2 will be sold by one of the big four U.S. carriers. He wouldn’t say which, but now we know that the YotaPhone 2 will be sold by either AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon Wireless.
The news that a major U.S. carrier will sell the YotaPhone 2 is a big deal for Yota Devices. Sure, we already knew that the device would be sold in the U.S., but most wireless consumers in the U.S. buy their phones through a carrier rather than unlocked through the manufacturer. The fact that a major U.S. carrier has decided to pick up the YotaPhone 2 greatly increases the device’s chances of success, especially since I could see a lot of folks spotting the YotaPhone 2’s dual screens in a carrier store and heading right for it.
Which U.S. carrier do you think will sell the YotaPhone 2?
