The Huawei SnapTo is officially available for pre-order for $179.99 in either black or white. Amazon says that the black model will ship on April 17, but the white version apparently won’t be released until May 15. No matter which color you choose, you’ll get a smartphone with the following specs:
We’ve seen several manufacturers focus on offering affordable, no-contract smartphones lately, including the likes of Motorola and Microsoft. The SnapTo appears to be Huawei’s effort to capture some of the price-conscious consumer market in the U.S., and while it’s not going to blow your hair back with high-end specs, the SnapTo looks like it should be a respectable daily driver for folks with basic tasks.
