Hot on the heels of a leak that gave us a clear look at the front and rear of the Nexus 6P, a newly-leaked render gives us a look at the four colors that the 6P will launch with. From left to right there’s a silver aluminum color, then black, then white, and then gold. Despite their colors differences, all four models have a black camera housing in the hump at the top of the phone’s rear. One other detail that's worth mentioning is that the gold Nexus 6P may only be available in select markets.
What today’s leak doesn’t show is the front of these four differently-colored Nexus 6P units. However, it’s likely that they’ll all have black fronts. Not only did yesterday’s leak of the white Nexus 6P show the phone with a black front, but we’ve seen other colorful Nexus units have black fronts, specifically the red Nexus 5.
Many Nexus phones are only sold in two colors, with the exception of the Nexus 5 and its red version that was added later on in its life, so it’s great to see that Huawei and Google will be offering more color options with the 6P. Sure, there may not be any crazy or super-bright options, but having four colors is certainly better than just having two.
Google is expected to officially unveil the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P on September 29, at which point we should learn all of their spec details, color options, and pricing.
