Pebble first introduced its Text Reply feature for iOS back in November last year. The feature had finally allowed owners of iPhone devices to reply to text messages received through their Pebble smartwatch devices with the use of a voice note or a pre-composed text reply (in February early this year, custom messages were first made available). However at that time, the feature was only offered to subscribers of AT&T.
But this year, the Text Reply feature for iOS can now be enjoyed by subscribers of Verizon Wireless. This was made possible through the deployment of a fresh new Version 3.11 update. But it should be noted though that despite being made available for all Pebble watch devices, the voice reply capability is only limited to the Time models.
Apart from bringing the Text Reply feature for iOS to Verizon Wireless subscribers, the roll-out of the Version 3.11 update also comes with a new set of enhancements. For instance, sleep-tracking has now been made more precise, and it now supports tracking of daytime naps lasting more than 60 minutes. Moreover, a new snooze feature has been added, providing timeline notifications a wee bit closer to the start time of a particular appointment. Time smartwatch models now also come with more options for vibration patterns. It is also worth mentioning that the Pebble mobile app has now been renamed. The Pebble Time app is now known as just Pebble, while the old Pebble app now bears the Pebble OLD VERSION name.
