Amazon Echo Look can now be purchased without an invitation

More than one year ago, Amazon introduced its new Echo Look device. Amazon was only selling the Echo Look through an invitation process, and we haven't heard much about the it since. Until today.

Amazon today announced that the Echo Look is now available to all U.S. consumers. That means that anyone that now get fashion advice, closet organization, and more from the Echo Look.

The Amazon Echo Look lets you take photos and six-second videos of your outfit then review them in the Echo Look app. The app can also perform a Style Check in which it compares two outfits using machine learning algorithms and advice from fashion specialists to tell you which one is best. It'll also give you feedback based on fit, color, styling, and current trends.

Other features of the Echo Look include Collections, which will let you organize your clothes by color, occasion, and more, as well as personalized style suggestions that'll have the Echo Look recommend pieces of clothing to go with what you already own.

The Echo Look is an Amazon Alexa-powered device, meaning it also has support for Alexa features like answering questions, playing music, setting alarms, and more.

It's unclear why it took so long for the Echo Look to become available to everyone, but it's nice to see that that's finally happened. And hey, at least now anyone that's interested in the Echo Look knows that Amazon has had a year to get feedback on the device and work to improve it.

If you're interested in getting a new Amazon Alexa device but the Echo Look isn't doing it for you, you may want to check out the Echo Dot or Echo Show, both of which are now on sale.
